For this role, our client is searching for an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Solutions Architect who will be responsible for being the point-person for all process and task automation projects, including leading the automation effort in the analysis, design, development, and deployment of BPM / RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions. This is a full-time position during Eastern Time from 9 AM - 5 PM.

The following Job-related experience is required for potential candidates for this role:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years in project management, system design, or information systems.
  • Must have at least 2 years of direct automation experience.
  • Must have proven experience with Power Platform technical solutions, such as Canvas and Model Driven Power Apps, Power Automate Cloud, UI and Desktop Flows, Power Automate Desktop, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse, AI Builder, and Powerapps Portals.
  • Must have experience in database modeling, architecture, and maintenance, ideally with SQL Server.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages such as MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Access, MS Word.
  • Must have strong knowledge in solution design principles and modular programming techniques.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of relational database concepts, including SQL Server and Azure Gateway.
  • Must have implemented automation solutions independently, gathered and analyzed requirements, and applied professional judgement through complex issues.
  • Must have the ability to understand business processes, create process flow diagrams, and prioritize demanding workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Must be knowledgeable of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed are highly preferred.
  • Preferably with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce and make presentations to the senior management team and other non-technical audiences.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Act as the primary architect for all custom MS Power Platform solutions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key internal business leaders to identify gaps and pain points in existing processes and propose solutions using MS Power Platform tools.
  • Lead the entire development cycle for MS Power Platform solutions, including discovery and analysis, design, configuration, programming, testing, and deployment.
  • Deliver tailored demonstrations of technology solutions to executive team members and internal users.
  • Develop and distribute user training materials, including guides and clinics, and conduct end-user training sessions.
  • Configure new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles to ensure efficiency, structure, maintainability, and comprehensibility.
  • Support Operational Teams during deployment and rollout phases.
  • Ensure all development adheres to best practices for custom solutions.
  • Refine MS Power Platform governance, standards, and tools.
  • Provide expertise and support to business managers and other members of the IT Solutions team on the implementation, support, and deployment of MS Power Platform solutions.
  • Assess business needs and identify opportunities for improvement through direct communication with the business using various methods.
  • Foster a culture of customer service and continuous improvement within the IT Solutions team.
  • Collaborate with external consultants and developers on contract.

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits and compensation:

  • A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
  • A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
  • A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
  • Fully-paid healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time work.
  • Compensation range: $8.00 - 12.00 per hour.

* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
