For this role, our client is looking for a creative Social Media Manager who is fluent in Korean and will be responsible for editing videos, designing graphics, and maintaining presence on social media platforms. This is a full-time position during Eastern Time from 3 PM - 12 AM, with the possibility of flexible starting hours.

The following Job-related experience is required for potential candidates for this role:

  • Must have at least a year of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Must be fluent in the Korean language.
  • Must be conversational in speaking English.
  • Must have proven experience in video editing for YouTube and content creation for Instagram.
  • Must have strong writing skills and be capable of producing clear, engaging, and informative blog posts.
  • Must be proficient with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
  • Must be familiar with familiar with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective time management.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos for our YouTube channel, ensuring they are engaging, well-paced, and aligned with the client's brand voice and standards.
  • Add graphics, animations, and effects as needed.
  • Upload videos to YouTube with appropriate titles, descriptions, and tags.
  • Create and edit compelling visual content for Instagram, including stories, reels, and posts.
  • Maintain a consistent and attractive Instagram feed that reflects the client's brand.
  • Write informative and engaging blog posts on relevant topics.
  • Make calls and send emails to obtain quotes from service providers such as plumbers and inspectors.
  • Manage correspondence and follow up on inquiries.

  • Must have their own work device (preferably a desktop or laptop) and a stable internet connection.

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits and compensation:

  • A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
  • A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
  • A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
  • Fully-paid healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time work.
  • Compensation range: $9.00 - 12.00 per hour.

* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
