For this role, we are in need of an experienced Senior Technical Lead who will be responsible for leading a development team through modern web technologies, driving development strategies, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. This is a full-time position during Indian Standard Time, but may be required to report during Eastern Time to accommodate for client and internal meetings.

The following Job-related experience is required for potential candidates for this role:

  • Must have at least 5 - 7 years of experience as a Senior Technical Lead, Senior Developer, or similar role with a strong background in web development.
  • Must have extensive hands-on experience and knowledge with Node.js, ReactJS, Laravel, PHP, Python, and AWS.
  • Must have prior experience with database management tools such as MySQL, MongoDB, MS Azure, Snowflake, NoSQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Must be well-versed with agile methodologies, scrum, and project management tools like Jira and Trello.
  • Must be familiar with the latest web development technologies and frameworks, with a proven ability to integrate new tools and practices into development processes.
  • Must have strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a team of developers.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and analytical approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Previous experience implementing or working with AI and AI tools is highly preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field is an advantage.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of web development projects, ensuring they meet quality, time, and budget requirements.
  • Provide deep technical expertise in PHP and Laravel framework, including but not limited to queue management, cron jobs, guards, and leveraging complex features for optimal performance.
  • Demonstrate a profound understanding of MySQL and NoSQL systems, with the ability to optimize queries for performance and make strategic decisions regarding their use.
  • Approach problems with a solution-oriented mindset, driving the team towards innovative and efficient solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and evaluate their applicability to our projects, leading the team in adopting and implementing cutting-edge technologies and tools.
  • Utilize logical and critical thinking to make decisive and informed decisions that contribute to the project's success.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and write professional emails.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, and mentor the team on best practices, aiming for high-quality code and maintainability.
  • Advocate for and implement tools that enhance Laravel development efficiency, such as Forge and Flare.

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits and compensation:

  • A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
  • A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
  • A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
  • Compensation range: 28 lakh - 45 lakh per annum or $16.50 - $26.50 per hour.

* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
