For this role, our client is looking for a professional Recruitment Specialist with experience in the Retail sector who will be responsible for successfully filling critical roles with high quality hires and coordinating with HR Business Partners and Hiring Manager to bring top talent to our client and their subsidiaries. This is a full-time position during Eastern Standard Time from 9AM - 5PM.

The following Job-related experience is required for potential candidates for this role:

  • Must have at least a year of experience as a Recruitment Specialist or similar role in the retail industry.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • Must have advanced computer skills including hands-on experience with ATS and HRIS systems. Experience with Dayforce is a strong asset.
  • Must have a fair understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Must have outstanding administrative, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Must have a strong understanding of the recruitment and selection processes, while also ensuring a positive candidate engagement experience.
  • Must be proactive, agile, and business-savvy with a commitment for improvement everyday.
  • Prior professional experience with high volume recruitment is a huge advantage.
  • Retail recruitment experience is highly preferred.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the Talent Acquisition Manager in managing high volume full-cycle recruitment for assigned client groups.
  • Responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment and selection process including conducting intake meetings to discuss the job requirements, job postings, phone screening, and booking interviews for the hiring managers.
  • Offer negotiation with candidates and complete the reference checks and background checks process using third-party vendors.
  • Effectively handle upwards of 15-20 job requisitions at a time for entry level to mid-senior level positions.
  • Be innovative and find new avenues and sourcing methods to attract top talent from the external job market including LinkedIn, Indeed and other social media platforms.
  • Build strong relationships with various Educational Institutions including Colleges, Universities and Employment Agencies to promote visibility and branding of the client.
  • Compile and update the recruitment tracker from their ATS system and share lists of open positions on a weekly basis to store managers.
  • Provide support in updating and managing the Recruitment Tracker for the HR Head and Senior Management.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in creating monthly KPI reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all level that enhance the Candidate/Client experience by promoting a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Process offer letters and amended offers with utmost accuracy and upload them on shared folders and software.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with facilities and event management teams to ensure that recruitment events, such as job fairs or interviews, are conducted in a safe and accessible manner.

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits and compensation:

  • A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
  • A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
  • A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
  • Fully-paid healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time work.

* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
