For this role, our client is in search of an experienced Logistics Business Analyst who will be responsible for reporting and analyzing Supply Chain & Logistics and SAP activities, inventory, and distribution processes by identifying and evaluating business activities and supply chain trends. This position is for full-time employment during Eastern time from 9 AM to 5 PM.

The following Job-related experience is required for potential candidates for this role:

  • Must have three of more years of relevant work experience as a Logistics Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must have applied knowledge of ERP/MRP, supply chain, and inventory management.
  • Must be knowledge of SAP and working with Third Party Logistics (3PL) teams.
  • Must have warehouse, distribution, fulfillment center, or logistics experience.
  • Must have advanced PC skills, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Undertake analysis and reporting on inventory levels, usage, excess, aging, and obsolescence, including resolving errors or exceptions on sales/orders inbound and outbound purchase orders and transfers.
  • Will be responsible for business analytics and reporting of Key Performance Indicators to support the Management team to maintain stated service levels and identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
  • Maintain SC&L KPIs and respective reporting of dashboard development and updates.
  • Run routine balancing report, carry out data analytics, research, and response to variances.
  • Run report on Service Levels and Volume Fill Rates for Retail and Distribution.
  • Run and report on other KPIs for the entire SC&L Function.
  • Support to the Logistics Expense Budget monitoring and control.
  • Run reports on Costs per unit by Subcategory and report accordingly.
  • Develop analysis and reporting of new key performance metrics, reporting tools, and dashboards aligned with SC&L Management.
  • Establish ad-hoc reporting to enhance department and interdepartmental efficiency as required.
  • Report on routine cycle counts and annual physical inventory, working with Sr Logistics Manager for write on or off to balance inventory, clearing of variance stock locations “buckets”, as well as coordinating with Logistics Manager to make claim on any shortages observed.
  • Report on Inventory Status, Variances, and expirations exposure.
  • Working with Planning team, analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
  • Generate Ad-Hoc Reporting to capture expense trends related to product category for better cost projections and reporting.
  • Generate Monthly Reports on Slow and Non Moving Inventory for disposition.
  • Generate ad-hoc reporting as needed.

Successful candidates for this role are expected to possess the following attributes:

  • Experienced with SAP WMS or Inventory Management systems.
  • Experience with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) is highly preferred.
  • Must have excellent English communication skills.
  • Has the ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Great logical and verbal reasoning skills.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and information-processing skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
  • A great work ethic and interest in learning new concepts and growing with the job.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have their own work device (preferably a desktop or laptop) and a stable internet connection.

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:

  • A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
  • A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
  • A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
  • Full-paid healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time employment.

*Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
