Job Description:
As an Intercom Electrical Technician/Tech Support, you must have a strong understanding of electronics and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish. Ideally, you must also have experience working with IP systems and providing technical support, particularly within the intercom or related industries. This role requires excellent communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Requirements:
- Proficient understanding of voltages, relays, and basic electronics.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with common software tools and applications.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
- Great spoken communication skills for effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred requirements:
- At least one year of experience working with IP systems.
- Previous technical support experience, particularly in the intercom or related industries.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support to clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues related to intercom and IP systems.
- Assist with system installations, configurations, and testing.
- Communicate effectively in English and Spanish to provide clear guidance and solutions to customers.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and customer interactions for internal tracking and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and implement proactive solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in IP and intercom systems.
Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:
- A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
- A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
- A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
- Healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time work.
* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of work, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
