Job Description:
As a Graphic Designer at AbroadWorks, you will be a vital part of our creative team, responsible for crafting high-quality visuals that elevate our brand and support our marketing efforts. From digital advertisements to branding assets, your work will play a key role in shaping how our clients and partners perceive AbroadWorks. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with excellent communication and creative skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design Creation: Develop high-quality graphics for digital marketing, including websites, social media, advertisements, brochures, and presentations.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the company’s brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms. Please include examples of brands you have worked with in your submission.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and content teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.
- Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve designs.
- Asset Management: Organize and maintain a library of design assets, ensuring easy access and version control.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to keep our visual content fresh and relevant.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10+ years of progressive professional graphic design experience and building a brand. With proven results in everything from the website to broader digital marketing properties.
- Experience: Must have 5-6 years of experience working in or with an agency.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and styles. Must submit a presentation deck and must have your own website portfolio.
- Skills: Excellent visual, typographic, and layout skills; strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Web Design: Experience with web design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Motion Graphics: Ability to create simple animations or motion graphics.
- UX/UI Understanding: Basic understanding of user experience and user interface design principles.
