Job Title: Engineering Quality Analyst

Location: Fully Remote, Philippines/India

Salary: $5.00 - $10.00 per hour based on experience

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

As an Engineering Quality Analyst, you will collaborate cross-functionally to clarify requirements, identify potential issues, and support troubleshooting processes. This role requires a strong ability to translate business requirements into test cases, an understanding of business use cases, and effective bug triaging skills.

Requirements: 

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in web application testing, including compatibility testing across browsers and devices.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements, translating them into effective test cases.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Highly organized, with an eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Case Development: Translate business requirements into comprehensive, actionable test cases that ensure product functionality and user experience.
  • Web Application Testing: Conduct thorough testing of web applications across multiple browsers and devices to identify and resolve any inconsistencies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across teams to clarify ambiguous requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Business Use Case Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the application’s business use case to ensure testing meets end-user needs.
  • Bug Triage: Identify, prioritize, and report bugs with detailed descriptions, working closely with the development team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Troubleshooting Support: Assist in troubleshooting support inquiries, identifying and documenting issues, and recommending solutions as needed.

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits:

  • A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
  • A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
  • A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
  • Healthcare benefits after 2 months of full-time work.

* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of work, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
