For this role, our client is looking for an analytical Bookkeeper / Accountant with experience in the E-Commerce industry who will be responsible for utilizing Striven software to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other various e-commerce transactions This is a full-time position during Eastern Time from 9 AM - 5 PM.

The following Job-related experience is required for potential candidates for this role:

  • Must have at least a year of experience as a Bookkeeper / Accountant or similar role.
  • Must have extensive experience and knowledge with bookkeeping processes.
  • Must have proven experience with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Sales/Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes.
  • A Certified Public Accountant license is highly preferred but not required.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Post weekly bills to Striven and create bi-monthly bill payment reports.
  • Enter credits from vendors and review credit card declines.
  • Generate A/R aging reports for collections.
  • Manage Stripe payments, including invoice creation and payment processing.
  • Accept, apply, and deposit payments in Striven (CC, ACH, Check).
  • Enter sales deposits in Striven and separate deposits.
  • Apply early payments and credits to open invoices.
  • Update new billing, upgrades, and downgrades.
  • Email invoices and collect payments using payment methods on file.
  • Gather and enter credit card receipts in Striven.
  • Process refunds and handle weekly deposits for Provider Shop/CMWL Direct.
  • Create new records for first-time buyers.
  • Manage payments to affiliates and bill monthly appointments.
  • Handle reimbursements for malpractice insurance.
  • Reconcile bank and AMEX accounts.
  • Manage weekly/biweekly invoice reports.
  • Handle refunds/cancellations manually, ensuring proper entry into Striven.
  • Process fees for new providers

Successful candidates for this role will be rewarded with the following benefits and compensation:

  • A total of five paid vacation days per year (additional days can be taken unpaid).
  • A 5% raise per year guaranteed (additional raises or bonuses may be given for outstanding performance).
  • A paid 15-minute break for every 4 hours of work.
  • Compensation range: $9.00 - 10.00 per hour.

* Vacation days increase by 1 vacation day per year. I.e. after one year of employment, the total paid vacation days on year 2 would be six, on year 3 seven, etc.
